Atlantic Crossing West-East!

Ahoy! We Crossed Atlantic this year and made a great journey. Now it’s time to move back to Europe. The vessel is now in Dominikan republic and I plan to start in March. Dominikan republic-Bermudas-Azores-Madeira-Gibraltar. The boat is a nice 36 Dufour Classic. Has all needed things and safety equipment for a Crossing. Looking for easygoing crew with some experience that can join for any stage (legs).

West to East Crossing 2022

5

I sailed with Alex from the Dominican Republic to Gibraltar in March 2022. Although we got some rough weather along the way, it never really felt unsafe. We got some minor maintenance to take care of once in a while, but nothing broke either, Loran Voyager is a great boat. Alex is knowledgeable, and always had an eye on the weather, so it always felt like we were on top of any situation that arose. He's friendly, relaxed and trusting (he won't be behind your every move, and will let you "do your thing" during your watches), always available, and interesting and fun as well. I wouldn't hesitate to sail with him again in the future.

I crossed the Atlantic Ocean with Alex from the Dominican Republic to Gibraltar in April 2022. I have had a wonderful trip and fond memories. He is a kind, patient person, a knowledgeable and confident sailor. I would gladly sail with him again.

Alex is an excellent sailor and a stoic captain. Humour is never far away though. A most wonderful experience, Alex was extremely patient and always willing to teach and develop my skills.
