Newly refitted Hylas 46 embarking on new adventures

Having spent the past 18 months extensively refitting my 2002 Hylas 46, I'm preparing to depart on new adventures, initially on the U.S. East Coast, Bahamas and Florida. I am a dual British/American citizen, and I live and work remotely aboard the boat. I'm looking for crew to join me on my sailing and cruising adventures. I'm aiming for a late Jan 2024 departure from Charleston, SC, having already brought the boat down from NC. Crossing to the Bahamas after spending some time in West Palm Beach, cruising there for 3 months or so. Crew will be expected to share expenses and duties onboard.

  • Boat descriptionMy Hylas 46 has been recently refitted extensively, with upgrades and maintenance that include: new standing and running rigging, replacement of all navigation, networking and stereo systems, installation of 1300W solar, bottom completely stripped to gelcoat and all new barrier coat and bottom paint, windlass rebuild, new dinghy and outboard, interior reupholstered, cutlass bearing, shaft and engine alignment, Starlink satellite internet, and the list goes on! By December 1st, the boat and I should be ready to head south.
