Hand for Berth – Possibility
Almost two months ago, I made my dream come true and bought my first own sailing boat in Sweden!
I will be sailing with “Pim” (my boat) most of this summer along the Swedish coast starting from Karlshamm (Mid June), across Kalmar (End of June), Gotland (Mid july) (the land of Pippi Longstocking), through Stockholm (Mid July), the Åland Islands (End of July) and on to Finland (August).
This are the timeframes when I will live aboard:
19.06. - 06.07.25
18.07. - 23.08.25
(12.09. - 18.09.25)
This are just timeframes, when it´s possible to join and sail with me. You can ask me to join for whatever time suits you, if it s only for a week or longer.
I will take it chilled, I don´t plan to sail every day and I just go out in easy, good sailing conditions. I also like to have enough time to explore the area, relax, have good conversations, upgrade little things on the boat, reading, good cooking and activities as yoga, swimming, creative sessions...
My vision is to spend time on this journey together with like-minded people. Besides sailing depending on weather conditions, I’d love to co-create and simply be together. I'm curious what excites you and what you'd like to contribute – creativity, making music, outdoor sports, foraging wild herbs, yoga, ice bathing, cooking – and there are lots of saunas along the coast too!
If you’ve sailed before, that’s helpful, but sailing skills are not absolutely necessary – I’m happy to teach you how to sail! If you are a captain or already have been sailing quite a lot, I m very happy to learn from you and improve my skills further!
“Pim” is a Comfort 30 (about 9 meters long), fitted out with a wooden interior. There are 4–5 berths. There’s also a dinghy with oars, a heater, an oven, and some kites on board.
I’d like to share the costs for food, fuel, and marina fees (although I mostly anchor or use free fishing docks). Beyond that, I appreciate any support in the form of a donation to the sailing fund, which helps keep the boat upgraded and maintained – so it remains possible to share adventures and community on board in the future.
Feel free to reach out if I’ve sparked your curiosity or if you have any questions!
