Cook/Stew - Temporary / Seasonal - General (Europe)
Cook/Stewardess
-Able to prepare simple breakfast and lunch for owners, guests and crew. Maintain galley and fridges to highest standards at any time.
-Provisioning and maintaining the food and drinks inventory. Assist the second stewardess to prepare the cabins and en-suites daily and basic laundry.
-Assist on deck when called upon.
-Lead the galley.
-Immediate start, 26.5 meter 4 cabin private motor yacht...no charters, well maintained, lovely easy going family owned, cruising Eastern Mediterranean (Aegean and Ionian seas).
-Joining in Athens.
-1 month probation, 6 months contract, for the right candidate opportunity for full time year around position or rotation with captain or another crew member.
-Renumeration to be discussed.
Basic requirements for all crew:
-EU Passport or valid Schengen Visa
-STCW-95/2010 Basic Safety Certificate (valid)
-ENG-1 or equivalent Medical Fitness Certificate
-Based in Europe, immediately available to join
-Official language is English, so well spoken
-Priority will be given to candidates with a minimum 1 year of on board service, additional formal courses and certificates ie. hygiene, culinary, silver service, wine tasting, Power Boat level 2 (or equivalent tender operating license), diving, Yachtmaster…
-Team player, easy going, flexible to assist in all departments, trustworthy and follow orders and procedures
-Willing to learn and grow in yachting industry
