Watch: Holmes Reef
Just returned from the Coral Sea, need crew to help sail north. Some experience helpful but able to learn on the go. Your own cabin. Shared duties include watch keeping, preparing meals, mostly day sailing, help with sail handling, mooring and anchoring.
Opportunities for exploring islands / anchorages, swimming and snorkelling on the way. Departing Gold Coast taking one or two months to get to Airlie Beach.

Boat descriptionThe boat, a Leopard 39 sailing catamaran, 13 years old, new sails, new rigging starting and running. “Owners Version” so three double berths, 2 of 30 hp Yanmar sail drives recently overhauled, 350lit diesel + 180lit reserves. Solar panels, a 240v 3kva generator and water maker, auto helm, GPS, AIS, Raymarine instruments, 800 lit of fresh water heated from the generator or engines. 2 Electric macerator toilets, FW deck shower The galley is up (not in a hull), 2 x fidge / freezers, very roomy back deck and saloon. 12v hookah. Required life jackets with MOB alarm, tethers, required EPIRB, flares, fire extinguishers, etc. MOB rescue line, 6 man life raft, 3.2m RIB & 9.5hp outboard. Sailed over 8000 miles in last 4 years.

Solomans to Cairns
Crewed for Hew from Noro to Cairns in Oct 2024. Couldn't recommend Hew enough, very friendly and experienced. Learnt a lot from him! We had a few hiccups on the voyage (as you do with these) which Hew handled expertly. Zephorous is well equipped to take on any passage and is very comfortable. Hope to sail again with them!
