Captain - Temporary / Seasonal - Thailand
Hello, my name is Jose, starting in mid-January, we will be taking delivery in Thailand of a very high-tech, 63-foot, 5-cabin electric catamaran powered by solar, wind, and fuel cells. It features a bow kite and is equipped with a bow kite. We are forming a recreational crew to sail together, each contributing their skills and experience. At this stage, the boat is not being monetized, so we are looking for a recreational crew who can log miles and who could later transition to professional sailing in the Caribbean if it suits them. Due to the long duration of the stage voyage, it may be more suitable for retired crew members who want to continue sailing for pleasure, although we will have starlink for those who want to work remotely. No smoking on board, mutual respect, and a calm atmosphere are essential. We will sail in the area for a short period to test the boat before heading to the Dominican Republic, probably via the Indian Ocean, to offer professional luxury charters there. We are especially looking for a crew with some experience in ocean navigation, electrical and systems engineers due to the boat's technology, but also, of course, for the day-to-day running.
