Deck & Stew (couple) - Temporary / Seasonal - Min exp 6 years - Spain
Privately owned Lagoon 77 sailing catamaran is looking for an experienced deckhand/stew couple.
Duties include:
- Deck operations
- Exterior cleaning
- Mechanical maintenance
- Vessel safety & navigation / watches
The ideal candidate would be an experienced sailor with 5+ years cruising experience, extensive training and seafaring knowledge, and demonstrated longevity within previous roles. Technical proficiency and troubleshooting experience are also very important; competency with technology is a must.
The stew/cook role:
- Healthy cooking
- Provisioning + restocking
- Interior cleaning
- Laundry
- Assisting with exterior cleaning
The ideal candidate would have sailing experience and knowledge of lines + fenders; can-do attitude, an all-rounder happy to work in all areas.
The yacht & programme:
Location: Canary Islands, Spain
Yacht: 100% electric propulsion and dual generators
Cruising plans: From Canary Islands to the Caribbeans
Usage: Private only, live-aboard owner/captain with a large dog onboard - occasional guests
Contract:
Temporary contract with the possibility of future rotation for the right candidates
Flights & travel expenses to and from vessel
