Experienced Volunteer Crew Wanted – Maldives to Suez (Seawind 1260, Feb departure)

We are seeking experienced volunteer passage crew to join Para Sempre, a well-prepared Seawind 1260 performance cruising catamaran, for a genuine offshore passage from the Maldives via Djibouti and north through the Red Sea to Suez, departing around 15 February.
Crew required: either one experienced offshore watchkeeper or an experienced sailing couple. Applicants must be confident standing solo night watches and comfortable with long offshore legs.
Watch system: 3-hour rotations (adjusted for single or couple). Double watches may be required in higher-traffic or security-sensitive areas.
Costs: All onboard costs covered (food, fuel, port/clearance fees). Crew cover flights, visas, and personal expenses only.
Calm, safety-focused, no-drama onboard environment.

  • Boat descriptionPara Sempre is a well-prepared Seawind 1260 performance cruising catamaran, set up for extended offshore passagemaking and liveaboard cruising. The boat is owner-operated, conservatively sailed, and equipped with appropriate communications, safety gear, and systems for long-distance ocean passages. We are currently embarking on a series of passages across the Indian Ocean, routing from Phuket to the Maldives, then onward via Djibouti, north through the Red Sea, and ultimately into the Mediterranean. We will have crew aboard for the Phuket–Maldives leg. However, my wife, who normally sails with me, will be leaving the boat in the Maldives. For the subsequent Maldives to Egypt passage, I am therefore seeking experienced volunteer passage crew to join for this leg. The onboard environment is calm, organised, and safety-focused, with clear routines and structured watchkeeping. This is a genuine offshore passage rather than coastal cruising, and we are looking for crew who are comfortable with the realities of long ocean legs and night watches.
