Boat descriptionPara Sempre is a well-prepared Seawind 1260 performance cruising catamaran, set up for extended offshore passagemaking and liveaboard cruising. The boat is owner-operated, conservatively sailed, and equipped with appropriate communications, safety gear, and systems for long-distance ocean passages. We are currently embarking on a series of passages across the Indian Ocean, routing from Phuket to the Maldives, then onward via Djibouti, north through the Red Sea, and ultimately into the Mediterranean. We will have crew aboard for the Phuket–Maldives leg. However, my wife, who normally sails with me, will be leaving the boat in the Maldives. For the subsequent Maldives to Egypt passage, I am therefore seeking experienced volunteer passage crew to join for this leg. The onboard environment is calm, organised, and safety-focused, with clear routines and structured watchkeeping. This is a genuine offshore passage rather than coastal cruising, and we are looking for crew who are comfortable with the realities of long ocean legs and night watches.
