[JUNE] Looking for adventurous individuals to explore the hidden spots of Fiji.

I’m exploring Fiji on a sailing yacht called Mecanica, which is my home.

On Mecanica, it’s all about enjoying life while being mindful of resources and respectful of the environment.
It’s about reaching places far beyond the typical tourist paths. It’s about bonfires with fellow cruisers, dinners with super friendly locals, climbing island peaks to see coral reefs from 2,000 meters above sea level, or simply swimming beneath a waterfall—with a little exercise along the way.

Sailing experience is not required, but you should have a certain level of confidence that you won’t get seasick. Overall, in cruising mode we spend more time at anchor than underway, as we focus on hiking or spending a few hours snorkeling or simply reading the book on a hammock between palm trees.

It’s not about where you are, but who you’re with. It’s about sharing good moments with people in beautiful places.

We’ll be cruising with three, at most four, people on board to ensure comfort for long-term liveaboard sailing on a monohull yacht.
You will get own cabin.

This is not paid / professional, not-a-charter, no-romantic offer. Just hop on board by flying to the nearest airport or ferry terminal.
All you need is an adventurous soul, time, and enough resources to cover your own expenses while traveling and living onboard on shared basis - Unlimited Internet is accessible via Starlink and with other shared resources like filters for the watermaker and spares for generator so you can have warm shower after snorkeling- it's about 7 - 10 euro (5.8USD) /person/day) + food.

Overall, Fiji is not expensive — if you’re currently living in a European city, you’ll most likely spend onboard less on food than you do now.

We’ll fully provision the boat and prepare our own meals.
Fresh produce can be sourced from local farms. Restaurants are available in the marinas and on the larger islands with resorts.
During the first half of the season, I’m planning to explore the Lau Group in a slow, unhurried way — not as a checklist exercise. Fiji is a magical region, which compared to the Mediterranean and the Caribbean, must be refreshingly unpopulated with unspoiled coastlines and often empty anchorages... and no charter bases.

Please be aware that sailing plans changes. I'm not doing charters where dates are defined nor charging people money so they can resign without any consequences.

##WHEN##
1) 27 days between 1 and 27th of July. 2 cabins available*.

We start in Vanua Levu (Savusavu) and sail via Taveuni and smaller beautiful islands on the south of Viti Levu. We slowly explore bays and villages of Kandavu and slowly head back to Vuda Marina (International Airport).

2) More less end of August -> October/November (end of season in Fiji) - there will be 1 free cabin for a individual. If you have enough time and convinced to cruise for longer there is always an option to continue cruising e.g. to Micronesia etc.

3) 25 September -> 25 November : 2 cabins available

[Onboarding]
There is Nandi International Airport that handles inbound international flights to Fiji. Onboarding will be most likely near an airport / Ferry terminal:
- [July] Savusavu SVU Airport or Labasa LBS Airport
- Nandi (Vuda Marina) - 20 minutes by taxi from international airport for 30 FJD.

My personal notes:
19 MAR -> June 30 - [MAR]
1 APR -> June 30 - [JRN]
July 27 -> 22 August [Wie]
July 27 –> September 20/25- [SEB]
August 1 -> 30 September [KMLA]
