1 or 2 weeks - 9-23 May 2026 - Island hopping the Greek Dodecanese islands
I am going to sail for 2 weeks on a sailing yacht in the Eastern Aegean from 9 to 23 May, starting in Kos and island hopping between the Greek Dodecanese islands North and South of Kos.
I have 1 or 2 cabins available during the 2 weeks for a single person or a couple.
I am looking for crew with Competent Crew level, or with some sailing experience. People can join for 1 or 2 weeks.
I have sailed the Dodecanese islands (opposite Turkey) extensively for the last 5 years and they are all beautiful with generally good weather, good winds and warm temperatures in the air and in the sea at this time of year.
As this is the beginning of the season, ports and bays are quieter than in summer which makes for relaxing sailing and locations.
The itinerary will depend on wind conditions. We will either sail North from Kos, visiting islands such as Kalimnos, Leros, Lipsi, Arki and Patmos; or South towards Nisiros (visiting its active volcano), Symi, Tilos, Khalki and Rhodes.
Costs will be £250 per cabin for the week, plus a boat kitty to cover food on board, port fees, electricity, water and diesel. We start with €50 per person and add to it when necessary.
