Crew Wanted – Fiji Adventure (One Slightly Crazy Person Needed)
Well, it’s that time again.
I’m looking for one crew member to join me aboard Luna, my Leopard 44 catamaran, for roughly three months of island hopping around Fiji. Maybe a little more, maybe a little less. Boats and calendars have a complicated relationship.
This is an unpaid position. If you’re looking to get rich, this opportunity is unlikely to help. If you’re looking to wake up in crystal-clear anchorages, explore remote islands, snorkel, fish, watch ridiculous sunsets, and occasionally wonder what day of the week it is, we should talk.
About Luna:
* Comfortable Leopard 44 catamaran
* Your own private cabin
* Your own private bathroom
* Plenty of room to spread out
* A floating home, not a floating party boat
About me:
I’ve been cruising full-time for several years and generally prefer laughter over drama, common sense over panic, and adventure over sitting in a marina wondering what could have been.
About you:
* Easygoing
* Sense of humor required
* Able to eat normal food without providing a 14-page dietary manual
* No significant health issues that could make remote island life difficult
* Not currently running from the law, an ex-spouse, or an international crime syndicate
* Willing to help with normal boat life
* Sailing experience is welcome but not required
What this is NOT:
* A luxury charter
* A dating service
* A reality TV show
What it IS:
Three months of exploring some of the most beautiful islands on the planet aboard a comfortable catamaran with good company, good stories, and probably a few minor boat projects because boats believe free time is a design flaw.
