Circumnavigation Cruise of Tasmania.
Yacht Bomoh will depart Port Albert Victoria on 6th February 2019 for a leisurely island hop across Bass Strait to Tasmania.
At Beauty Point Tasmania Bomoh will join the Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania's circumnavigation cruise fleet, to sail down the west coast and around the bottom to Hobart.
# Please note....now there are only two crew positions available - from Hobart Tasmania (20th March) to Port Albert Victoria (5th April)
Will return to Port Albert approximately 5th April via Bass Strait islands and Wilsons Promontory.
The 2019 Van Diemens Land Circumnavigation Cruise itinerary and relevant information can be found on the RYCT website. If interested please read.
This is a well organized social cruise in the company of other vessels.
Like minded, adventurous people wishing to experience some of Australia's most pristine and beautiful coastline are welcomed to join Bomoh as crew.
Crew are required to contribute when and where they can with the running of Bomoh. No body will be assigned a task they are not comfortable with and sailing experience isn't necessary.
Will be 4-6 POB and all will have their own bunk.
To share the expense I am asking AU$30 per day per person. This includes all onboard meals, fuels marina fees, all cruise entry costs etc.
This cruise can be undertaken in legs between the main ports (approximately 2 weeks each) but preference will be given to crew wishing to complete the entire sail.
Possible crew change ports are - Beauty Point, Stanley, Strahan, Hobart and Bicheno. (see map on website)
There will be plenty of opportunity for fishing, hiking, beach combing, diving (yacht has surface supply air - Hooka) and sundowners / BBQ's ashore.
I am an experienced skipper, Bomoh is a comfortable and safe yacht that carries all offshore safety equipment.
You are welcome to join us.
We are nearly fully crewed.
