Caribbean island-hopping

Want to join the Reflection crew?

Reflection is rather small sailboat, currently in the Puerto Rico in the Caribbean, sailing around in a leisurely manner and having fun. We like inviting people aboard to share the experience. Reach out if you want to experience life on the water, learn to sail, explore paradise.

Our next stop will likely be the Dominican Republic, followed by a passage to Florida. Because of this, candidates will need to be able to enter the US if intending to stay for awhile.

Our boat is a 38 foot monohull that is comfortable but far from luxurious. The full details about the boat and living situation can be shared upon contact.

We give priority to people who can stay longer, and people travelling solo.

Cheers,
Olivier & Brandi

  • Boat descriptionReflection is a sailboat originally manufactured in Canada in 1988. There is a V berth, a quarter berth, a head (with indoor shower and electrical toilet), an ample saloon, and a large galley (with stove and refrigerator). The V berth and the quarter berth are both double beds. Additionally, up to two people can sleep in the saloon in separate beds. For navigation, we have the usual suspects: chart plotter, autopilot, depth sounder. We have the usual safety equipment: 6-person liferaft, visual distress signals, satellite GPS tracker, personal locator beacon, lifevests, etc. I try to keep the lifestyle aboard simple. I don't have a motorized dinghy, just a kayak; I like washing the dishes and doing the laundry with sea water; I am disappointed if we have to motor for a long time.
