Cruising bucket list
I am currently on my 2009 Hunter 50 Center Cockpit sailboat (Nirvana V) berthed at Cape Eleuthera Marina, Eleuthera, Bahamas.
I am looking for a crew member to join me on a voluntary basis for one month starting immediately. I am open to helping with travel expenses depending on location. I will provide food and beverages.
I am looking for someone who respects people and and enjoys all the wonders of the natural world especially underwater.
Owing to a standing rigging problem I cannot sail this season - the problem is not an easy fix. I will change the standing rigging when I return to Merritt Island, Florida at the end of April.
Other than the rigging problem Nirvana V is in good condition and is equipped with all necessary navigational and safety equipment.
We have four SCUBA tanks on board plus dive gear. If you don't dive you can still enjoy snorkeling.
We have a 2022 Highfield RIB with a 20 hp Tohatsu outboard motor.
I do not allow alcohol to be consumed while the boat is moving.
Non smokers only. Also no drugs.
The atmosphere on Nirvana V is very relaxed.
