Morecambe Bay and Beyond….
Petit Soleil is a lovely and solidly built Norwegian boat similar to the more well known Hallberg Rassy. It is very stable in rougher conditions with a full lead keel and also sails very nicely at a good speed.
The boat is now based in Fleetwood and I plan on doing day trips over to Piel Island and longer trips to Isle of Man, Scotland, North Wales and Ireland. The boat has excellent heating so it is still very cosy in colder conditions over the winter. The only costs involved would be covering your share of food and gas/paraffin usage.
