Looking to join a crew to cross the Atlantic west to east

Hi

I'm currently looking for a novice/crew position to cross the Atlantic west to east. To sail home and make it to my sister's wedding in april 2026

I am a tour-cyclist, rock climber and generally frequent traveler from the Netherlands. I have been an active sailing instructor for children on small sailing boats for the last 8 years. And joined in a students sailing competition on classic sailing ships. Racing from the Netherlands to England and back. The best thing about this race was sailing at night and only seeing stars and open water.

i recently spent a week on a 100 year old schoner, sailing from Germany to Vigo. Here I got used to a watch system, overcame my first seasickness and got used to the general life on board. After this I joined a crew to sail from the canary islands to Morocco and follow the coast up to la Linea - Spain.

I have always loved sailing and teaching, and would love to broaden my experiences further on the ocean.
I'm looking forward to meeting some new people!
