Looking for more ocean miles
Hi, at this point I'm looking for (end of year '25 / early '26) trips to either
a) spend some time (1-2 months) in the caribbean, or
b) Ocean crossing from Europe/Canaries to South America / Caribbean.
Preference for Cats.
I'm 51 yrs young and have always been on the water for sailing, surfing & diving. I'm active for the Dutch Sea Rescue (KNRM), meaning I'm training (bi)weekly for all sorts of sea rescues and emergency situations on the water, advanced first aid, search & rescue, fire @ sea, ...HUET (Helicopter Underwater Escape Trainings) etcetera. I'm quite busy during the summer season in actually helping boats & people in trouble on the water. I've travelled the world - >40 countries - mainly for surfing.
I'm a father of two, and recently retired from my own business with ample time to pursue new adventures. Since a cruising vessel is on my bucket list for >20 yrs, I'd like to get some xtra relevant practice + meet like-minded spirits along the way. Easy-going personality.
