Looking for a Competent Crew, Racing crew or Novice Crew position
I’m looking to crew on an Atlantic Crossing. I’m flexible with regard to starting place ( Canary Islands, Cape Verde, or the mainland ) and arriving locations.
I’m an experienced sailor and just finished a /- 3000 miles trip around Europe with 2 persons on a X-44 yacht ( North Sea – Ostzee ( Scandinavian countries ) – crossing to Orkney’s Islands, around Scotland, Irish Sea, Celtic Sea, Golf of Biskay, Portugal ,Spain, etc ) . Unfortunately our boat needs to stay in Spain for a year, while we originally planned to make the crossing now. Therefore I am available and would love to cross the Atlantic before Christmas period. ( as originally planned ) .
I am a very easy going person and want to participate in all the activities on board. I’m willing to contribute in the costs. I’m native Flemish ( Dutch) speaking, I’m fluent in English – French and speak basic German. In my leisure time I like to travel and do sports ( playing/coaching rugby, mountaineering, ski touring, MTB, (free)diving, etc )
