Fellow sailor with versatile skills seeks crew in/around Europe
Hi everyone!
I am Matthias and I'm looking for a sailing opportunity for the coming year 2025. I am flexible in terms of time and can travel anywhere in or near Europe - the location is less important to me than meeting kind and experienced sailors.
I got my inland sailing licence this year and have mainly gained experience on small sporty sailing boats on lakes so far. I've also been out on the sea a few times, but more on relaxed family trips years ago. Now I want to dive deeper into sailing, get actively involved and learn from experienced sailors.
I love working with wood and repairing - for example, I built my own camper van, which I lived in for a year. Professionally, I am a photographer and motion graphic designer and enjoy using these skills, whether for impressive photos from the trip or creative projects on board.
Apart from that, I love cooking together, exchanging experiences and having exciting conversations.
I am inquisitive, a quick learner and a hands-on person - whether it's sailing manoeuvres, maintenance or life on board. I'm looking forward to gaining new experiences, meeting nice people and going on exciting trips together!
