Looking for a 1st Mate or Captain position
Dear,
Throughout my career, I have worked in the chemical industry and global logistics, primarily in managerial roles. Alongside my professional life, I have always been passionate about sailing—exploring the Mediterranean on chartered boats and private yachts.
Years ago, I began as a crew member and gradually developed my sailing skills through hands-on experience. I progressed from co-skipper to skipper, gaining extensive knowledge in Nordic waters and, more predominantly, the Mediterranean.
Sailing is more than a hobby to me; I thrive on regattas and long-distance voyages, and I find great fulfillment in teaching others the art of sailing.
Two years ago, I made the decision to follow my passion full-time. I retired from my corporate career to dedicate myself entirely to sailing.
Over the past two years, I have had the privilege of skippering a 70-foot sailing yacht for a private owner, which allowed me to expand my skills in managing a superyacht. Additionally, I have completed several yacht deliveries, including routes from the UK to the Nordics, Tunisia to Spain, Spain to Italy, and the UK to Gibraltar.
Beyond sailing itself, I am deeply committed to the wellbeing and safety of crew and passengers. Facilitating a positive onboard experience is a natural extension of my leadership style.
What can you expect from me? In addition to seasoned sailing expertise, I bring strong team values rooted in respect and integrity, with a clear focus on safety, maintenance, and people-oriented management.
