After having completed 3 seasons in a row as a cook/stew/deck, or chef, or boatyard worker, etc... I have had the pleasure of being landbased in the beautiful island that is Mallorca, a refreshing haven by comparison!
However, after less than a year beached, I am itching for the sea and the boat life once more! A more challenging world, but perhaps more rewarding too.
If there is one thing I can guarantee, it is that I am reliable, hardworking, and truly set on doing my best - I love to try and help the crew and guests get the most enjoyment out of their time.
Although I would not be confused for having a Michelin Star or two, I live for making healthy (and sometimes indulgent too), always delicious, and elegant meals to suit the guests and crew. It is super important to me to keep the crew happy especially, as they are breaking their backs to keep the whole show afloat! One of my favourite parts of cooking on boats is that actually, sometimes one doesn't have access to all the ingredients the recipe calls for - I thrive on adapting to the moment and being able to pull a creative stunt now and then.
I'm really looking for an easygoing, happy, and calm yacht that prioritises good quality work and good vibes. No more time or battery for stress and drama.. I can delivery great quality work, whether in the galley or out, no need for any hassle. Kind captain, kind owners, and understanding all around. My goal is to serve the best meals I can, and always improve to be able to make my presentation and technique shine.
