Hey! I’m Richy — a 25-year-old Canadian based in Airlie Beach with a strong passion for sailing, adventure, and working on the water.
I’ve got over 75 sea days logged in the Whitsundays on overnight charter and fishing vessels. I hold STCW, Shipboard Safety, Boat/Jetski License, First Aid + Advanced Resus, Long Range Radio (LROCP), RSA, and Food Safety. Currently working part-time on a fishing charter while studying for my RYA Coastal Skipper with the goal of completing Yachtmaster Offshore in the near future.
I’m looking to crew on deliveries (coastal or offshore) or live-aboard opportunities — paid — where I can contribute to watches, sail handling, maintenance, or galley duties. I’m reliable, easygoing, quick to learn, and comfortable standing night watches or getting my hands dirty.
Available on short notice along the East Coast of Australia or open to international departures.
