Mildly experienced and eager to learn
Ahoy. Looking to join the trip around Fiji and/or South pacific. I have a bit of experience in sailing. I sailed Havana to Isla Mujeres, did some short sailing trips Mexican coast as a cook & general crew as well as stayed on the hook for over a month long uninterruptedly. Also I worked for a season as a chef/stew on a sport fishing yacht. I realize how challenging it is & it fascinates me. I wish to get a deeper understanding, learn basics of sailing & who knows... Maybe really get into it. I'm simple & traveling with the idea 'i don't need much' & I promise not to nag & complain. I'm a rather small person (in terms of space occupied it's valuable I assume), light on feet & around a boat but organized & strong at least in spirit. I can follow instructions. I'm truly willing to help as much as i can & is needed. Hardly ever seasick but mind me feeling like getting horizontal when 4feeters bang outside for a few hours straight. Confident swimmer, hold an open water diving license. I don't know what else I should mention to qualify :)
As for the route & time frame I'm flexible. I believe I can even provide with recommendations from captains I volunteered with. Hope to match & live the dream soon.
