Looking for a Friendship, Novice Crew, Voluntary work or Mile building position
Hi, my name is Paul and I am fairly new here.
I am from a small town in the south of Austria where I originally learned to sail on a friend's small boat on a local lake. Back then, I fell in love with sailing and tried to pursue it ever since. I managed to take a few trips on charter yachts down in croatia through various opportunities. During my time aboard in the USA, I also joined the sailing club at the university and jibed around a local lake there.
Upon coming back, I decided to pursue this hobby more seriously and enroll in a course leading up to the Austrian sailing certificate. I completed the theoretical part a few months ago. Now, I am looking for opportunities to expand my knowledge and prepare myself for the practical part.
Apart from sailing, I studied physics at my local university. Currently, I am a PhD-candidate in electrical engineering. I would say I am techically quite savvy and am interested in all kinds of stuff. Eager to learn something new - espacially excited to meet new, interesting people.
