I'm Rodrigo, a 34-year-old Brazilian with a background in civil and environmental engineering. I’ve recently shifted my life from the city to a self-sustainable countryside lifestyle, where I live on a rural property and work with eco-construction and home automation using Arduino and ESP32.
Now, I'm pursuing a career in software development while dreaming of exploring the world by sail. I’m passionate about nature, technology, and meaningful human connections.
I'm looking for an opportunity to join a boat as a Novice Crew, Volunteer, or Mile Builder, helping with daily tasks, learning to sail, and offering support wherever I can. I can also be helpful with:
Electrical maintenance
Small electronics repairs
Solar systems (off-grid)
Monitoring/automation using microcontrollers
I'm easygoing, curious, respectful, and I adapt well to different environments. More than a passenger, I aim to be an active, hands-on crewmate — learning, sharing, and contributing as we go.
I'm especially interested in eco-conscious boats and slow travel, but open to any opportunities that welcome a willing learner and good company.
