I have just come to the UK for a week to sort a few things and visit family after spending the last 2 months sailing around the Adriatic Sea.
Looking for the next opportunity to join a sailboat. Opportunities leaving the UK, or cruising in areas outside Schengen, preferred for the next few weeks. I’m planning to be in Sri Lanka/India in October (if anyone is around there around this time and wants to get in touch) Also looking to join an Atlantic crossing from November.
I am very easygoing to be around and I have worked on sailing yachts for over 2 years so I’m used to living in close quarters and I understand how much hard work is involved in running a boat. I’m currently sail hitch hiking to expose myself to as many different sailors, boats and sailing conditions as possible so I can improve my own sailing skills and judgements.
I’m of course happy to help with all jobs onboard and contribute towards the costs while onboard. I know looking after a boat is a lot of hard work and I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty.

Great minds think alike
I had Hannah joining my boat for week at first, but having her on board was such a delight that she stayed for a month. She's laid back, works hard, very eager to learn everything about boats and excellent company for a glass (or 20) of wine. An absolute pleasure sharing this time with her and glad she's now part of Vera's history.
