I am looking for the next opportunity to join a sailboat to the Caribbean
I have over two years experience working on superyachts and I have spent this summer on various cruising vessels to learn from more experienced sailors and in various different conditions. I’m looking for an opportunity to cross the Atlantic, as I intend to pursue my next professional job over there, with an Atlantic crossing under my belt.
I am very easygoing to be around and I am used to living in close quarters and being at sea. I understand how much hard work is involved in running a boat and am happy to help out with all kinds of jobs onboard, including maintenance, cleaning, cooking, keeping watch, etc. I’m of course happy to contribute towards the costs while onboard and I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty.
Hobbies and interests include alternative ancient history, spirituality, different cultures and languages, music (I find beauty In most genres but particularly enjoy jazz, classical, 70s punk, new wave, electronic), water sports, adrenaline sports, hiking, eating new and interesting food, cold beer and conversation, yoga and sailing! I’m a curious person by nature and generally interested in most things. I love meeting and connecting with new people and learning from them. Looking to meet likeminded lighthearted and easygoing people with an open mind and good sense of humour :)

Great minds think alike
I had Hannah joining my boat for week at first, but having her on board was such a delight that she stayed for a month. She's laid back, works hard, very eager to learn everything about boats and excellent company for a glass (or 20) of wine. An absolute pleasure sharing this time with her and glad she's now part of Vera's history.
