Hi, my name is Irene and I have little sailing experience, but I'm determined to learn and spend more time at sea.
I must admit, I'm not this kind of super easy character, but I'm honest and I've seen how I can handle stressful situations well, even after several days at sea. When our personalities match, we can build a solid friendship. I am very respectful, quiet and curious.
I've had my adventures traveling by bike, hitchhiking, and volunteering through Europe, New Mexico, California and Thailand.
I am actually working as a climbing arborist and I am familiar with ropes and knots.

Great crew
Irene spent two weeks on board, sailing two-handed from the West boast of Ireland of South Brittany in sometimes fairly rough conditions. She proved to be highly adaptable, respectful, discreet yet fun and excellent company. She does not have much sailing experience, but she seems to be immune to seasickness, and she's a fast learner. She was interested in all aspects of life on board, so I expect that with a bit more experience, she'll make an excellent and most useful crew. I'd welcome her back on board anytime.
