Looking for sailing experience
Hi - I've just joined Crewbay. I'm interested in finding a position as Competent Crew (hopefully redoing in July). I'm looking forward to meeting some new people!
I’m a 31-year-old man who's let his IT and Mechanical Engineering career get in the way of being near the ocean.
I'm a quick study and I'm fast on my feet too. I am a British and an Irish citizen which is a "powerful" passport combination, I speak Spanish at around a B2 level and just shy of some immersion to break through into C1, I'm very physically fit and energetic, I do lots of climbing so I'm no stranger to a rope, and I love cooking and unironically love cleaning too. I'm also quite handy, I did mechanical engineering at university but more than that I've done plenty of tinkering with electronics and also do some repairs on my car; trim, windows, pulley/alternator replacements etc.
From a personal point of view; I love to figure out what makes people tick (laugh) and I'm often described as very smiley, easy to get on with, laidback, and something of a duracell bunny. No, I'm not quite sure how those last two can both be true either. From the brief description above I think we'd get on. I'm always willing to get involved and get on with anything that needs doing.
