Looking for a Mile building, Racing crew, Competent Crew or Delivery Crew position
Hi - I've just joined Crewbay. I'm interested in finding opportunities, trips as a Mile building, Racing crew, Competent Crew or Delivery Crew. I'm looking forward to meeting some new people!
Learned (kinda) how to sail in Chesapeake Bay as a college kid out of Annapolis and VB. Chartering. As a HS Student I was 1st Mate for a neighbor on his 40’ Bay Built Fishing out of Deale, MD.
Have been racing One Designs as Tactician (sic) for the past 5 years. Down-the-Bay from Annapolis ending up racing through a Gale Memorial Day weekend.
Seasoned with a solid SF (San Francisco Bay) racing circuit over 7yrs. Offshore to the Farallon Islands in the Big Boat Series 2x, to Santa Cruz Wind Jammers, Monterey Plaza Cup (winner during the Maverick’s Surf Competition in Santa Cruz same weekend).
Rough weather doesn’t phase me, steady at the helm. Not a Fair Weather Sailor.
Navigator for Owner on Board delivery from Rappahanock to Hampton on a Gozzard 44. Arrived safely, no damages, on-time as expected, even after altering course for the ease of passengers on board.
