Experienced (and qualified) sailor looking for fun crewing opportunities - racing, cruising, delivering!
Hi - I'm looking forward to cruising or racing and meeting some new people! My focus is safety and fun. When cruising, I’m not about counting the miles, just enjoying them - and the places we stop and see. For racing I’m keen to go round the cans, or JOG type races.
I have logged about 5000nm (but probably sailed closer to 10k) in races and cruising - (mostly as crew, some as skipper) - mainly uk (Solent) but also in France, Caribbean, Greece, Croatia, Portugal, Italy. I hold day skipper (full) and yacht master (theory only).
I used to sail all the time and then in 2014 became a father so it all slowed down, aside some holiday dingy sailing. I recently we t out on a couple of trips and remembered how much I enjoyed it. I’m taking a career break at the moment and so keen to use the time to get back on the water.
