Hello there, I am looking to experience the amazing sailing lifestyle and build my confidence on the open Ocean
Hi, I am Merlin, 22 years old and i would like to join your boat to learn about the life on a sailing Boat, meet interesting people (travelers like sailors always are ;) and build my personal experience sailing bigger boats.
I have always loved the ocean am an avid conservation diver and surfer, the ocean has always been were i made my best memories and i would like to find another way to live around the ocean.
Before starting my aerospace engineering studies last year I spent a lot of traveling volunteering especially with homestays so i have experience living with other people and helping them with whatever i could, mostly repairs housesitting, a lot of childminding and cooking. All that to say that I have a bit of an idea how to help living together and make the most of it :)
As a divemaster i spent my time mostly on smaller boat and thus am good in even high waves and windy conditions. I also do have a inland water sailing lisence but only about 60 miles on the open ocean. So i hope i can increase that tally with you
I am a quick learner and always eager to try new things, which is why i would like to sail with you.
When i am not studying or spending time at the beach i love to read relax with friends or go on bike tours for a weekend or so.
