Looking for a Deckhand, Delivery Crew or Competent Crew position
Hi - I've just joined Crewbay. I'm interested in finding a position as a Deckhand, Delivery Crew or Competent Crew. I'm looking forward to meeting some new people and gaining experience at sea. I just recently got my Yacht Skipper Certification for open waters ( up to 18 m) and I am an avid fan of tall ships plus I sail regularly on J22's in Jamaica. I sail as a crew on tall ships and also in the regattas so I am used to discipline and navigational watches and to do whatever is required. I am fairly new sailor and not ready to be a captain as yet so crewing and learning new skills from more experienced sailors, captains is what I need. I have STCW Basic Safety Training Certificate and valid international health certificate and preparing to take my LRC radio certification soon. I act as port agent in Jamaica and run a tour company there so I am great in customer service and organisational tasks on and off-board the vessel. Non-smoker and very moderate drinker. Love to get more experience sailing around the Caribbean.
