Looking for a Novice Crew or Competent Crew position
Coucou! I'm Théa. I'm a proud 23-year-old Bretonne (from Bretagne, not Brittany) and a recent Photography graduate.
I've just joined Crewbay. I'm interested in finding a position as a Novice Crew or Competent Crew.
I sailed around the world for 18 months with my family when I was 6 so I don't remember much of any of the sailing skills from them. I have been sailing here and there ever since but I would like to better my knowledge as I hope to boat hop my way to the Pacific in December/January. For that I would need a boat willing to take me across the Atlantic, hence the want to refresh my very rusty sailing skills! Looking forward to meet new people!
A bit more about me: I like to stroll through life with curiosity, collecting inspiration, perspectives, and moments along the way… and maybe even turning some of them into a documentary project. Growing up with two older brothers who constantly challenged me—but also shared their knowledge—I’ve learned to fend for myself. I’ve become resourceful, handy, resilient, and quick on my feet. I’ve been climbing and swimming for several years. While both are individual sports, I’ve discovered the joy of teamwork within them: cohesion, motivation, perseverance, encouragement, and celebrating shared victories. Friends and friendships are a crucial part of my life. I’ve grown and learned just as much from them as I have from my family, and today I consider them my chosen family.
