Looking for a Competent Crew position
Hi everybody,
We are Laura (27) and Arnold (28), a young couple who are ready for their next big adventure: to join a transatlantic crossing to the Caribbean and/or Latin America. We would love to do this crossing in the beginning of January 2026. We are available from the 3rd of January from anywhere in Europe. Both of us love sailing from a young age and we both sailed on a variety of boats (up to a 50ft - 2 masts). We haven’t crossed the Atlantic yet. It has been our dream from the moment we met each other (5 years ago). After the crossing we are going to spend another 8 months in central and south America. So our total trip will be around 9 months.
Laura is a nurse (ICU), Arnold is an engineer. We speak Dutch, English, French, and trying to learn Spanish.
Departure point: Anywhere in Western Europe, Cape Verde
Destination: Central/ South Americas, ideally the Caribbeans but we are not picky
Available: Start of January (after the 3th)
Experienced: both international certificates for operators of pleasure craft (ICC) and (laura) had also her SRC. Both have experience on different types of boats.
We are volunteers and will contribute expenses for the trip (food, gas).
