Looking for a Deckhand or Stew/Deck position
Hi - I've just joined Crewbay. I'm interested in finding a position as a Deckhand or Stew/Deck
I bring a strong mix of hospitality experience, leadership from my time as a waterfront director and head of the events committee at my high school, and background in private wealth administration for UHNW clients in Jersey, CI. I hold both a BSc and MSc in Business, and hold dual German–American citizenship, both languages of which I am fluent in. I grew up traveling and have visited more than 50 countries, which has shaped my adaptability, cultural awareness, and love for a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
I hold my STCW, ENG1, Powerboat Level 2 and Level 2 Food Hygiene and Safety certificate and am highly motivated to begin my career in the yachting industry. I am active, sociable, and adaptable, and I thrive in environments where teamwork and continuous learning are encouraged. I’m always willing to help wherever needed and am excited by the opportunity to contribute to both deck and interior operations.
I have been a Red Cross certified lifeguard and teacher of swimming and water safety and I am an avid skiier and recently got into scuba diving. Although I have not worked on yachts up to this point, I pick up on things quickly and have no problem learning from, and contributing to my team
I’m transitioning from corporate work into yachting because I am seeking a career that’s hands-on, team-driven, and allows me to be outdoors, constantly learning, and physically involved in the job rather than behind a desk.
