Looking to gain experience in any department needed, ideally deckhand and galley
I am transitioning into the yachting industry after a 15-year career as a professional chef. I am highly motivated to begin this new chapter, with the long-term goal of progressing through the ranks and one day becoming a captain.
While I do not yet have formal maritime experience, I bring with me a strong foundation from the
hospitality industry that I believe translates exceptionally well to yachting. I am accustomed to long, demanding hours, working under pressure, maintaining high standards, and always putting the guest experience first. I am organized, adaptable, quick to learn, and fully understand the importance of hierarchy, teamwork, and following direction.
I am looking for a captain willing to take a chance on someone who is eager, hardworking, and
committed. In return, I can promise reliability, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude. I am
ready to learn, ready to work, and ready to prove myself as a valuable member of the team.
I am Canadian, visa-exempt for the US and Schengen. I comply with the 90/180 rule.
