Motivated Crew | Open to Offshore Adventures & Long-Term Sailing
I’m 20 years old and taking a full year off before starting my third year of Mechanical Engineering. I’m very committed to my degree, but I wanted some time away from uni to slow down and spend extended time on the water.
I got into sailing during my second year at university. My grandfather was a sailor, but growing up I’d only ever been on boats briefly and as a passenger. I felt a pull to get back on the water in a more active way, so I took up sailing properly, and it quickly became something that helped me stay grounded and focused.
Over the past year I’ve completed my Uruguayan Brevet B, PADI Open Water, and First Responder certifications. I’m relaxed, open-minded, and very keen to learn. I enjoy the physical and practical side of sailing and am comfortable with watches, maintenance, chores, and long days onboard.
Because I’m taking the full year off, I’m flexible and open to longer sailing commitments, and I’m not tied to any particular location. I’m looking for a recreational, non-professional sailing experience and a shared adventure.
I may not have years of experience, but whatever I don’t know, I’m committed to learning. I’m eager, reliable, and genuinely enjoy being on the water. I’m looking forward to learning as much as I can, contributing wherever needed, making good memories, living some real adventures, and meeting good people along the way.
