My name is Chauncey, and I’m looking to join a sailboat as a crew mate this summer, starting sometime in April. I’ll be traveling under my own power first biking from Toronto to the Mississippi River, then canoeing the Mississippi down to New Orleans. From there, I’m hoping to find a boat heading toward Mexico or Cuba and would love to join as crew.
I’m very handy, respectful, and comfortable with hard work. I have some sailing experience, though I’m still learning, and I’m eager to build my skills, contribute wherever needed, and be a solid, reliable presence on board. I’m up for long days, shared responsibility, and the challenges that come with life at sea.
