Ocean-Passage Hungry Novice Crew | Night Watches Welcome | Ready From Late January
New to Crewbay and looking for opportunities as Novice Crew / Voluntary / Mile Building / Boat Sitter. Available from late January onward (flexible schedule) and prefer long or very long passages.
I’m 43, Ukrainian, with a background in media and public relations. Currently I remotely manage a startup providing international legal services for corporate clients, which requires under 30 hours/month, so I can fully commit onboard and adapt to watch schedules.
My goal is to master sailing and make it my lifestyle (and potentially a future career). I’m not looking for a “holiday at sea”, I want to learn and contribute. I’m happy to stand night watches and I’m ready for deck work, cleaning/maintenance, and any practical tasks.
Experience: beginner level, only a few coastal day/weekend trips as a guest/learning crew, but highly motivated and proactive in learning.
Photo/video: I enjoy shooting and can help document the passage and create content if desired.
Health & lifestyle: decent swimmer, no health issues, no special diet. Non-smoker, minimal alcohol (rarely). Respectful, neat, emotionally stable, easy to live with in close quarters.
Costs: I will pay my travel in/out, bring my own personal gear, and arrange insurance. While onboard, I expect the boat to cover normal living costs, including meals.
