Looking for a Mile building coastal and offshore passage position

Hi everyone,

I’ve just joined Crewbay and I’m currently looking for opportunities as crew, mainly for mile building and gaining further offshore sailing experience.

I already hold an RYA Day Skipper certification and I’m enthusiastic about continuing to develop my practical seamanship skills while contributing positively to the boat and the team onboard. I enjoy working as part of a crew, sharing responsibilities, and learning from experienced sailors during both coastal and offshore passages.

Looking forward to meeting new people, sharing great sailing experiences, and joining future adventures at sea.

Fair winds!

Lanzarote to Gibraltar

5

Antonio joined us for a 10‑day passage from Lanzarote to Gibraltar via Porto Santo, Cadiz and Barbate, in often rough seas, and was an excellent crew member throughout. From day one he was eager to help with anything on board — sail handling, watches, cleaning, and general boat tasks. He quickly picked up routines, stayed calm and reliable during night watches, and was always willing to go the extra mile when conditions got challenging. On top of that, Antonio is a very good cook. He consistently turned out tasty, hearty meals even in a rolling sea, which made a huge difference to everyone’s morale on board. He kept the galley tidy and was thoughtful about using ingredients wisely on a longer passage. Personable, respectful and easy to live with in a small space, Antonio integrated well with the crew and maintained a positive attitude the whole trip. I’d be happy to sail with him again and can highly recommend him to other skippers and crews on Crewbay.
