Experienced deckhand seeking professional work
I completed my Yachtmaster Offshore qualification in the past year and have since gained hands-on experience delivering yachts, including an Atlantic crossing from Martinique to Gibraltar. I am currently based in Portugal, where I am assisting with the refit of a custom-built sailing yacht, further developing my practical skills and systems knowledge.
My passion for the water began at a young age through involvement in a wide range of water sports, which laid a strong foundation in seamanship and built confidence in varied conditions. I am comfortable working closely with crew, taking responsibility when needed, and adapting to the demands of the vessel to ensure safe and efficient running of the vessel.
Alongside my maritime experience, my background in fine dining and luxury hospitality has instilled a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm and focused under pressure. I am hardworking, reliable, and quick to adapt.
