Hi - I've just joined Crewbay. I'm interested in finding a position as a Competent Crew. I'm looking forward to meeting some new people!
I'm a widower, retired, enjoy all water sports. I co own a Hurricane catamaran which I get to say about a dozen times each year.
My availability is generally good albeit I pursue an array of activities which normally means I have stuff in the diary.
I like to travel, meet new people and enjoy new experiences, I consider myself easy going, earthy person with a healthy sense of humour. There is little that I am not willing to try or do. I keep active and fit, that said older age is like "death by a thousand cuts" ... just have to grin and bear it.
I enjoy cooking, no mater chef but have a strong passion.
I have a myriad of interests and passions including such things s; bowls, woodwork, gardening, reading, photography, canasta and many many more. I love my food which is never complete without a glass of wine or beer.
My career was with Ford Motor Company; I started life as an Engineer but moved into Finance midway. I'm well travelled.
I have a full life but am always looking for new experiences, hence my reason for being on this site..
My strongest qualities are; honest, reliable, resourceful, likeable, fun, rounded. I won't try to big myself up any more than that.
