Looking for a Voluntary work, Novice Crew, Friendship or Mile building position!
Hello!
My name is Isma, I'm from Barcelona, Spain, and I'm currently in Sri lanka. I’m looking to join a crew to gain sailing experience and continue learning as much as possible and enjoy the adventure of sailing!
I hold the Spanish PER (Recreational Boat Skipper license), which gives me a solid theoretical foundation and basic practical skills. I have already started sailing and I’m now very motivated to build up my sea hours and become a reliable and capable crew member.
I would describe myself as an easygoing, cheerful and respectful person. I adapt well to new environments, enjoy teamwork, and always try to bring a positive attitude on board. I’m also proactive by nature;I like to stay busy, help wherever needed, and take initiative without waiting to be asked.
I am physically fit, comfortable in the water, and used to spending long days outdoors. I’m calm under pressure and willing to take responsibility while also knowing my limits and continuing to learn from more experienced sailors.
I’m happy to contribute in all aspects onboard: sailing maneuvers, watches, cleaning, cooking, maintenance, or anything else required to keep the boat running smoothly. I see every opportunity as a chance to improve and grow.
My goal is to gain solid experience, especially in longer passages over time, and to become a dependable crew member you can trust.
I’m flexible with plans and destinations, and currently located in Sri Lanka, which makes me available for opportunities in the Indian Ocean or nearby regions.
