Looking for a Novice Crew, Voluntary work, Steward(ess) or Nanny position
Hi - I've just joined Crewbay. I'm interested in finding a position as a Novice Crew, Voluntary work, Steward(ess) or Nanny. I'm looking forward to meeting some new people!
Crew available in Central America/Caribbean June/July
About me:
- I am 23 years old and speak: Swedish, Dutch, English and Spanish fluently. My German is intermediate. My French is rusty but studied it in high school.
- Sailing experience: I was going to become a sailing instructor, but unfortunately that didn’t go through due to the COVID-pandemic. So I am very good with lasers but am keen to learn more about sailing a larger ship. Have sailed for a week through Turkey on a larger boat (see foto).
- I have worked in hospitality since I was 15 years old. I was a ski-instructor for the past 6 months and am an avid kitesurfer.
- I am currently travelling through Ecuador, but keen to fly to whatever port I’d start from.
- Open to contributing to food and fuel costs.
- I am available between 25th of May and end of July, flexible on dates and destinations (but preferably around the Caribbean).
- I don’t smoke and prefer not to eat meat.
What I am looking for:
- I am looking to help out on a sailing boat (with sailing, cooking, cleaning, etc.) and learn more about sailing on larger boats!
