Easygoing drama free individual looking for milebuilding. Love to laugh, discuss and learn
Hi and thanks for reading.
I am athletic (Master's swimmer) , outgoing and friendly, diplomatic and solution-oriented, have an appreciation of all kinds of personalities and situations. Get along with most people, play crib, Texas HoldEm, and a few other social games. Uni educated. Happy to help on board as needed, working on official credentials but can cook, take watch, hoist a spinnaker and set sails and top up the engine oil. I live in Montreal and work as a realtor, can be flexible about location and length of trip. Don't need to be entertained, enjoy long passages, like to read and learn and certainly to contribute. ! ;-)

Summer 2019: Palma to the Amalfi coast via Sardinia, Ischia, Procida and Naples Bay on the same 51 ft Swan as mentioned below. (SV Eleonora). A fair amount of night sailing. Captain and me, approx 620 nm
Summer 2018: Gibraltar to Palma in a relaxed, meandering way, with Brits Bee and Pete on an Oyster named Jubilate Mare. Only one night at sea, we usually anchored in the afternoons and explored the Spanish coastline and seaside towns. My roles: second mate, co-cook, approx 500 nm.
Winter 2017 Cruising on the Swan around Guadeloupe, skipper, myself and 1 novice crew.
December 2016 delivery of a 51 ft Swan SV Eleonora from Norfolk, VA to St-Thomas USVI and then some puttering around the BVIs. 1 crew (me), 1 cook/novice crew + Captain Michael. Non stop in blue water so a lot of night watches, GPS, course plotting, radar, playing with autopilot, reading weather maps etc. About 1300 nm.
OCT 2016 Guadeloupe to Nassau; helped outfit and deliver a new Lagoon 42 catamaran destined for charter via Navtours. A happy trip, lots of laughter. On board were skipper, me ('mom') and 3 other crew. Wind was a bit challenging, was right after Hurricane Matthew. My first (and only) experience to date on a catamaran. Several overnight sails, night watches (duo), approx 880 nm.
