Sailing Photographer
I was born and raised in Boulder, Colorado. I spent eight years in Kona, Hawaii, where I discovered my love of sailing.
In May 2015, still very green, my ex and I bought a Cape Dory 27, which we sailed from the island of Oahu back to the Big Island. In October of 2017, I took a position crewing on a 64-foot traditional gaff-rigged schooner located in Panama. After an interesting experience in Bocas Del Toro, I jumped onto a Morgan 41 Classic with four friends and sailed to the Cayman Islands, Cuba, and back to Cayman. I spent 7 months in Grand Cayman and sailed to Little Cayman and Cayman Brac. I took a position on a 103 ft power yacht named Ohana. After 6 months for living and traveling aboard, Florida, Bahamas, Ft Lauderdale, and Key West, on the private vessel, I left the position to pursue the captain's course. I now hold a 25 ton near coastal license.
However, life plans changed, and last year I found myself landlocked in Colorado. I am looking for either a paid or volunteer position where I can combine my professional photography skills and my love of sailing. I'm feeling pretty rusty after all this time off the water and would love a position that will help to rebuild my confidence.
