What about working together?
Even though my nautical experience began when I was a kid, cruising in the Adriatic with my father on our small wooden motor boat, the turning point was in February 2019, when I crossed from Miami to Bimini and spent 3 months sailing through the Bahamas. During the 2019 summer season I worked for a charter company, on a Baltic 60, cruising around Italy and Malta, employed as a hostess, but helping with all the sailing activities, from docking, to mooring and rig maintenance. Finally, in November 2019, I crossed the Atlantic as delivery crew and right away, in December, I helped delivering the 2nd place ARC winner "Fra Diavolo"; from December on I've been working as a chef for Navigare Yachting, together with my partner as a skipper, proving that also our working relationship is well-founded.
Life on such restricted spaces is not very easy, but I found myself handling it very well, taking and giving to everyone the deserved personal space, but still sharing many things, in order to create a peaceful and comfortable atmosphere. I have a positive attitude and try to get the good even from the worst situation. You will see me smiling most of the time and perseverating on making and keeping friends, despite the distance or the different attitudes, which I manage with serenity and diplomacy. I consider myself capable of acclimatizing very quickly in new environments, and a fast learner: in whichever place or role you put me, I settle in!
Creative, friendly, organized, tireless and steady are things that represent me the most.
My bachelor degree in communications is just a piece of paper that strenghts my curriculum vitae, because communicate is what I've been doing my whole life, in order to explore places and meet people: my parents always told me the importance of public relation, and that is how I've been able to make new friends, in and outside the working sphere.
With my partner, I would love to join a crew. On a sailing or on a motor yacht, we are immediately available for working in the Caribbean/Bahamas/Europe/Worldwide! My main role has been as a stew, but also deckhand, tender driver and cook!
