I am an energetic and outgoing individual with a drive and passion to make a career in the yachting industry.
I am a young, energetic South African with a outgoing, very sociable personality. I have been in the industry for 2 years as 1st mate and I work extremely well in a team. I am highly organized and professional. I am well experienced in sailing and motor yachting with experience on a 100ft motor yacht. I work very well in any structured teams and have leadership qualities. I am passionate about the ocean and exploring new places, and working with different people from different backrounds and cultures. Whether i am crew or captain on a vessel my goal is to perform at the highest possible standards and ensure guests leave with a life long memory.
I am a fully qualified RYA yachtmaster with 2 years experience as 1st mate on board M/Y Perfect Harmony based in Florida. I have had the opportunity to learn a lot on board this vessel and sailed from Puerto Rico , St.Maartin, BVIs and the entire Exuma chain of the Bahamas. I am a young, energetic and extremely enthusiastic person that always finds the positive in any situation. I have also done a ocean crossing from CPT. South Africa to Port Louis Mauritius. I am great with guests and a great hand in the kitchen. I have all the skills you are looking for from tender abilities to night navigation and passage planning. I have around 3500nm on sailing vessels and 3300nm on Motor Yachts. We are very eager and hard working South Africans that will make a great addition to your crew.
