Easy Cruising Crew
Easy-going non-expert sailor enjoys the cruising life. Spent three wonderful carefree months in the summers of 2016 and 2017 cruising the Greek Islands on a 42 foot Beneteau, eager to resume life on the water. Native Californian, able-bodied 61 years young woman, leans liberal (I did not vote for HIM but offer my apologies to the world).
My particulars:
Willing to take orders from skipper and gets along quite well in small groups.
Grew up on water, self-taught on Sunfish and FJs. Some formal sailing lessons and light experience race crewing 40 footers on San Francisco Bay.
Former scuba diver with over 250 dives, mostly from 5-12 day liveaboard boat trips in Indonesia, Fiji, Thailand & Palau. Land-based diving in Caribbean, Belize, Honduras, Mexico, Costa Rica & Hawaii. Traveled extensively in Europe.
Executive Assistant by profession; good communication and logistical skills.
Good cook; clean, tidy and well-organized by nature but not fanatical. Speak some Spanish.
Friendship foremost but open to romance (long-term, not a fling) if the chemistry and values match. Ideal would be experienced retired gentleman with suitable sailboat (catamaran?) who wants to explore the world.
