Hi everyone! We are Emily and Cassy, from the UK and Canada. We have both been travelling the world since we were 19 and have been doing it by living and working in different countries for 5+ years now.
We met and lived with each other in Indonesia, working as dive instructors. We are not shy of hard work or getting our hands dirty. We both share a love for boats (Cassy has had a life long dream of living on her own boat!) we love how the space aboard is so efficient and crews live as a sharing unit. Cassy started learning to sail back in 2018 in the Mediterranean and Emily recently spent time staying on sail boats, completed her STCW, and almost signed up for her yacht master. Onboard, her mates all put towards a kitty and made shared meals. We would be more than happy to make similar group meal arrangements. We are not picky in terms of food but we both like eating healthy and discovering new things.
As we would both like to spend lots of time on boats we’d also love the opportunity to learn about how to maintain and sail one! We are currently really interested about any opportunities and we will make sure we are allowed to travel there (considering Covid-19 restrictions).
Emily is currently on Oahu, in Hawaii and has made many friends living in the harbors. She has become super interested in how she had make her future boat sustainable (including researching compost head and DIY refrigerator projects!)
Cassy is currently back home in Quebec, Canada but ready to head wherever the wind blows by April 1st.
We are both ambitious and independent. We would be delighted to live aboard and we don't have a time limit. Please let me us know if you have the space to accommodate us both. We will both have Covid tests before arrival.
